    Newbie with brand new car

I placed a large AGO order a few days ago that should be here today!! I went with the above, as well as getting the LC hydropads, CG BlackLight and CG BLACK wax. I also bought Mike's ebook last week and have read the majority of it already. Awesome stuff! Of course the weather sucks - mid...

    Newbie with brand new car

So I kind of put this on hold thanks to Mother Nature not being so nice. Spring is coming quickly, so I'm dusting this one off. I'm itchin' to fix this poor car. I washed her this past weekend since it was a balmy 50 and sunny and wow are there some major swirls on this thing. :( At any rate...

Very cool idea. Just got my new tags in for my new car and was wondering how to solve this problem.

    Newbie with brand new car

I've been chipping away at my ever growing shopping list. I'm really chomping at the bit to start working on the car, but mother nature has not cooperated whatsoever. It's rained for a week straight. I am going to have the weekend where it'll get into the high 40s during the day, but then a...

    Newbie with brand new car

Now that's a cool car! I haven't done a full inventory of what potentially needed to be taped, but it sure did spook me. Looking at just the hood, luckily the wiper arms and such are all hidden under the hood. Kind of like an over hang. So I'm sure I can get away with covering it up with the...

Silly question.... I stumbled on to one of Mike's video about how to tape a car. Are you guys doing this every time you're putting the DA polisher to use or are there techniques to avoiding the cracks/crevices, seals, etc?

Aha! Thanks Andrew! I didn't answer your other question.... I am absolutely going to attempt to do this right the first time and hate skimping, so I have no problem going after the best products. I'll take a serious look at the Swissvax. :xyxthumbs:

Appreciate the advice, Andre. Great stuff.

    Newbie with brand new car

Thanks for the tips. Glad to hear the Mother's kit is OK. I can be impulsive with stuff like this, so I was regretting not looking into it further. I worry about not getting the Iron-x completely rinsed from all of the nooks and crannies of the car, namely the edges where the doors or hood...

    Newbie with brand new car

It's refreshing to see so many cool customers here. So many forums are littered with trolls and just down right negative people. Big thumbs up to AGO! I've been studying and trying to come up with a plan and a shopping list. I haven't done this before, so I need just about everything... My...

    Newbie with brand new car

Oooof, my baby has 356mi on it and it's swirled just as bad as that camaro was. Seemingly every square inch has some swirls or light scratches to it. It's amazing to me how beautiful the car looks, yet after learning just a tiny amount of info (SO FAR!) from here I'm seeing there's a ton of...

    Newbie with brand new car

Wow thanks for the quick feedback. I have a ton of learning to do. After seeing the how to video on checking for swirls, I'm afraid I've already seen a ton of swirls on the trunk. I'll have to go out in the sun tomorrow to confirm. I thought it looked odd, but thought it may have been just the...
