In the beginning of january I did a full detail on my 335i. I topped with a coat of XMT carnauba finishing glaze with collinite 845IW on top. I've always loved the durability even in the florida sun that my car sees everyday.
I snapped a quick picture coming out of work last night after it...
So i was detailing the bathroom this morning before work.... :buffing:
Anyways, I bought some new clorox cleaners the other day and they came out with a new bottle design that has the tube fastened to the inside front edge of the bottle. When you tip the bottle forward into a normal spraying...
microfiber towels are designed to grab and hold... not something i'm keen to use on a dirty vehicle. I have always opted for multiple sheepskin mitts with heavy foam gun action providing lubrication.
Month and a half old application of collinite. Just washed it an hour ago :)
You can see the grills I blacked out and removal of the orange reflectors on the bumper I painted last week as well!

I always used 4" pads in the past, and recently purchased a set of 6.5" ones. Having used both, i much prefer the 4's because of reasons stated above relating to the pads not spinning with the larger size
about 6 hours. xmt 1 took the longest of everything. I wasn't getting the cut I remembered from the past with it. really happy with xmt2 on an orange though!
I do need to invest in a lug nut brush. My old tC had exposed lug nuts and they were really easy to clean. This car though...
