Wow guys, thanks for all the replys. I'll listen to everyones advice and skip the cleaning lotion. I've used the cleansing lotion in the past with great results but it was when my car was new. Now I just need a nice solid weekend without rain to get started.
Thankyou, yes I do have a bottle, I've always used it before waxing, but now my paint needs some correcting, I just wanted to make sure I wouldn't be wasting time and product.
I'm going to be picking up a bottle of advanced swirl remover along with advanced finishing polish, I will be finishing with souveran wax, Im curious as to if it would benefit to use paintwork cleansing lotion after the advanced finishing polish before waxing?
I've seen on ytube vid's it is best to use a moist microfiber for the initial wipe to make it easier to remove.
I've never used an iron remover but I'll look into it, I always assumed a clay bar was all that was needed. Thanks for the suggestion.
I'm going to detail my car soon and am in the process of buying a few things I don't have. I am going to be using a da polisher, my car hasn't been washed since last summer so I'm expecting the paint to be not in the best shape. Of course I'll be prepping the paint with a good wash and clay...
