What do you use to clean it before topping? I'm using the store bought-bathroom specific cleaners, and they arent cutting through the hard water spots. It's not a copper sink though...if that matters.

Hit Dislike on accident. I haven't tried many of the store branded soaps. If the car is really dirty I typically use an APC 1:8 or 1:10 and spray it on the car dry. Let it sit for a couple mins and then foam over that. Normally my cars don't get that dirty and I rarely clean others' cars...
