I have a tan interior and the seat belts are dirty. Whats the best way to clean them, or do I have to dye them with SEM dye?

I have 2000 mustang and the red button on the seat belt clicker is oxidized from a red to a pinkish color. The black cover that goes over the ignition is the same way Anyone know how to take the ox out safely?
