How do I keep those surface scratches from appearing on my black finish Regal? I wash and wax the car by hand. I use a drying cloth when washing the car. The car does not go through a car wash. I have never used a buffer on the car.

I am using and old T shirt to apply it and a micro rag to remove it? I also dry it with a drying cloth like a shami.

I just found this site this week. Every time I wax I seemed to get swirl marks. Any suggestions on how to prevent this from happening? Anyone located in Northern NJ who could give me some tips? Thanks,
