I recently purchased a Porter Cable 7424 from autogeek. I consider myself at least somewhat mechanically inclined. I am having this problem with the polisher. It seems to be hitting the rivets on the polishing disk. Its overheating and I hardly have enough room to remove disk with supplied tool...
