Exactly how many coats of the Opti-Coat Pro should approved dealers be applying to the paint?? I have been reading conflicting information on line and heard some dealers do one coat, while another dealer will do 2 coats. What is Optimum's required application for Opt-Coat Pro? Thanks

This is a great question that I was always curious about. The manager of a highly respected auto body shop in my area told me they never recommend machine polishing JUST to make paint perfect and remove swirls because you are always removing small amounts of clearcoat and even paint. He said...

KevinC... Yes I am in NJ, and thats exactly what I did first! Went to self service and blasted off all the heavy salt/grime, blasted out the wheel wells, went back home and hand washed. I mean my Civic looks beautiful now and these light scratches are ONLY noticeable to someone upon close...
