I've tried this odor eliminator in the past, the smell it leaves is even more overpowering than APC.
I'd say all it does is mask.
Im not a pro either, but this is based on my personal and very recent experience.
agreed, odor eliminator is simply another smell - not an option for me. Need some "chemical" that's capable of removing whatever APC particles/smell left in the carpet fibers but without introducing another smell... does something like that even exist?
an update:
Bissell SpotClean Pro seems to be cheaply made/flimsy and definitely underpowered, leaving 30-50% of water/moisture in the carpets. Not a good product in my opinion, but then again, maybe $150 isn't supposed to buy you a good product? :D
