I must say you take really good photos!

You will always want to wash and clay the paint before any sanding, compounding or polishing. And it is super easy to strip the wax or polishing oil at wash or clay stage, isnt it?

Hope you at least charge the extra....

A SL65 that I did last week, 2 stage paint correction.

SUV is bigger, but you should not spend 4 more hours on it (compare to 3 hours that you mentioned) I usually charge maybe $50 more on it (not paint correction and coating)

I always clay it, it just take couple more mins with clay mit. And yes, you can clay it for sure. However, I dont clay inside as it seem pointless to me.

I forgot to mention that I only use Eraser after FG400 for some of the areas, and on glass as well (just to make sure no FG400 left on paint) and then finish down with Essence. Then go straight to Cquartz.
