My wifes car had a drop of tree sap (on a door) that ran down over the painted-on pinstripe. Used hand sanitizer on it. It removed the sap ...and 1/4" inch of pinstripe.

Remove emblem, polish, remove polish with ipa, install emblem. What's the point?

Not a good idea to try to get anything to 'stick' to a polished surface.

Is this product safe to use in a body and paint shop? (Don't need any extra fisheyes!)

Thanks shoeless and opie . Will follow up on your recommendations. I use the 3M Perfect-It system (rotary) right now which begins with wool and finishes with a foam pad and Ultrafine polish. Works real well for me but I want to take it beyond that, which is why I am on here. The results I have...
