Gyeon silk drying towel and rinseless washes.

I used the Gyeon silk dryer with lots of rinseless shampoos and its a great towel. Its so good Ill buy another one. On the other hand I cant get along with Gyeon waffle dryer. That one just wont dry...it will just smear but not dry. I had a Martin Cox waffle before and that towel was...

ONR vs CarPro Ech2o for Rinseless Wash

Ech2o seems to clean better then ONR...it feels stronger and slicker on paint. Its a really good product but I hate the haze it leaves behind. If you dont wipe it off good enough (like FrankS said before me, you have to do it 2 or 3 times) it will leave a haze similar to wax residue. One...

Clay towel at the end of its life?

Just out of curiosity...other than rinsing it out how would you clean out a clay towel??? BTW...ive had the same problem at my winter prep in october as shown in the first pic. I later gave the car a light polish (with menzerna 3500) and the marring was gone.

You might be a autogeek if........

When you - wash, clay, polish and wax your snow board a week before you go skiing - wax your snow shovels so snow doesnt stick onto it - see a super car parked on the street and the first thing you do is start looking for swirls and think how you would correct them - buy a expensive wax and...

How to get wax and sealant out of foam pads?

Use a strong APC cleaner on them...OPT power clean at 1:1 ratio or Britemax Grimeout at 1:3 ratio should do it.

Video: OPTIMUM products brand review with special guest Yvan Lacroix!

Great video. Ive been an OPT fan for years now and I find them to be great...as showcased they are easy to use and a time saver. The process contradicts the standard detailing process in some ways but it does work. I have not used all of OPT stuff yet so I was really suprised to see Ferrex...

    Favorite Waterless Wash

Out of the above I voted for OPT opti clean but its not as cost effective as the others. Also one to consider and the one I really like and was impressed by Surf city garage rinse free wash and wax at 1:5 dillution. It smells nice, it has great lubrication, it cleans well and it finishes /...

    ONR and freezing temperature

A bucket of warm water helps a lot. Also use rubber gloves. Pre spray a panel, and wash and dry a panel at a time.

Best bang for buck wax on the market?

OPT car wax and opti seal are great in spray form. FK1000p and FK2685, Poorboys natty waxes and Collinite 845 are all cheap and great waxes in hard and liquid form.

    Gyeon Cancoat

I have some experience with this. First off prep work. As with any product its best to apply to a washed, deconed, clayed and polished surface. For polish you can use whatever you like. You can use the Gyeon primer but be aware it needs to cure for 12-24h before you apply Cancoat which is a...
