I have had good luck with Griot's Garage dual action polisher, combined with an orange cutting foam pad and a correcting compound like Jescar's. Finish with off with a micro polish cream with black polishing foam pad and you're golden, and top it off with your preferred paint protection product.

I went to our local detailing shop called Shine Mate Polishing Pad in Yellow and I bought this and a corded drill and it seems to be working well with Menzerna PF2500. I also bought a 3" Orange foam pad and seems to flex better than the Grey heavy duty cutting foam pad.
