Like others have said D300 and M105 are two very different compounds. They both have their place. I'll grab D300 every time over M105 if I can. If the D300 isn't cutting it (pun intended) then I'll use M105. Even when using M105 properly, it isn't exactly forgiving. Just a few seconds can...

It more or less, just hazes a little. I have two bottles of BF GEP and have gone through a third. I actually prefer using it by hand with a damp microfiber applicator as per the instructions on the bottle. I've used a black pad and machine to apply it as well, but didn't like how it was going...
