Make sure.you clay it out, bc clay is abrasive as well and will remove much of that oxidation.. if it was a repaint it is possible some idiot put a paint sealant over it. But use the least aggressive approach... Try some megs #7 by machine.

Think of your polishes like chocolate milk, if not shaken up frequently, the chemicals separate. dont quote me on this but im pretty sure polishes are mostly made of "silicates" abrasives, and a light cleaner?

I rarely look at time and how long a certain stage takes me, ive had a car properly washed on 20 mins. But ive also had the vehicles that take 2 hours to wash and dry.. depends on how extensive your wanting to go.
