Interesting read, thank you. It's almost looks like a couple of scuff marks, which I'm not sure the clay would cause from everything I've read, but I'm very new to all this so it's very possible I was more heavy handed than I realized.

Thanks. How did you know my wife factored in the decision! The reason I think it would work on the trim is the trim is flat (craftsman style), so there is really no detail. Just flat pine and poplar. But there is a lot of it and it has to be sanded anyway. But I really just want it for the car.
