Help me to find a flat wrench

Hi, everyone. I lost a flat wrench that I use to replace a backing plate of Griot's 6 inch polisher. Does anyone know where I can find any flat wrench that fits for Griot's 6 inch polisher (not the latest model but one generation old)?

do you guys spread wax by hands?

I apply wax with bare hand when (1) application for only a small section is planned, (2) applying on a hard to reach area by an applicator. The reason behind the first case is I want to save a clean applicator and skip washing it till a next wax job. Examples of the second case are edge of paint...

    How to use Iron X

For a first time user of Iron X let me reiterate that safety is a factor. I think Iron X is one the harmful detailing products you normally buy. Eye protection is a must. At the very first time you need to pump two to three times till the fluid sprayed out but be careful the fluid may come out...

    Masking Tape

Where I need a fine application of a tape, I use TAMIYA's masking tape. It's sold for plastic model kits so it suits for small, fine application. Not only that, the adhesive is super mild so it can stay on car paint for days yet leaving zero residue (unless baked by sun, I think).

    dish soap

:iagree: Using dish soap should be just one of the tips. BTW, think about it. You apply car wax on a dish. Then you need to use the dish for meal. Washing with dish soap is enough? To me, yes... How about you guys?

    Collinite 845 2nd coat question

When I was new to car detailing I picked up #7. I used it several times but finally decided to throw it away because of following reasons though it made my dark paint more deeper: 1. Hard to remove. To remove I needed much elbow grease and I was afraid to make micro scratches, 2. I learned...

    Migliore Endurance Quick Detailer

I am using Migliore Endurance QD. I basically use it for small area of quick detailing to remove light dirt from a well waxed garage queen after a short drive. It evaporates after a couple of wipes leaving behind nothing. But I do not use it for an overall quick detailing of a car because...

    Collinite 845 over Meg's UW?

I love 845 it is a great wax by itself but I always top it with paste nuba wax. I do it by hand, though I have a DA, so I do not know it is good or not to apply liquid wax with DA... It should be good to add another wax over 845, and maintaining the shine, you use QD, or QD and UQW, because...
