That's the beginning of clear coat failure . A wax will do nothing to protect the ravaging effects of weather it would need clear coat reapplied or a repaint job !

I would wait 90 days to coat otherwise the solvents in the paint won't escape and dry causing issues with the coating!

With the technology that's available today there's no excuse for a poor polishing job that's come from a body shop! Unfortunately, a lot of Body Shops even the most prestigious one's are stuck in the stone age , they don't want to try new technologies to deliver results and that is what happens...
I try and drink purified water which also is alkaline! I stay away from sports drinks too much sugar ( not good for you in the long run!
I do take breaks and stretch , I eat a healthy protein and carbohydrate meal during the day !

I used to have the same problems and after having gone through a lot of buffing pads I finally put down the problem to the reconditioning brush !
IMHO I found it to be too harsh for cleaning foam pads , I only use it on wool pads now .
