Drying Aid -- microfibers over time? Cleaning?

Thats a good thought....what I could do is throw them in the bucket, then when its full, fill it up, and soak for 24hrs. What dilution should I use for APC for microfibers thats safe? In the washing machine I am using Rags to Riches

Drying Aid -- microfibers over time? Cleaning?

I want to begin using a drying aid such as bead maker...I keep reading though that these are going to over time make microfiber towels useless. Would a general strategy of having a "Dirty Microfiber" bucket that has water/rinseless/APC in it and throw all dirty towels in there until its time...

    Expectations of a Mini Polisher?

Thanks - I'll give the rotary function a try. I have the Rupes LHR75e which does almost all other areas, so I don't have much to do, hence not wanting to spend $650 on the rupes

    Expectations of a Mini Polisher?

I recently purchased the MaxShine 2" polisher and the youtube reviews dont seem to show it stalling much unless there is a decent amount of pressure applied. Unfortunately I received mine and a small amount of pressure stalls the thing, its really unable to remove any paint swirls at all because...

Steering wheel cleaner - avoiding dye removal?

Hi all- So on my older Mercedes, I used some leather cleaner on it, and noticed that it immediately started pulling the leather dye off. I ended up replacing the steering wheel (it did have 170k worth of wear...)...but I learned my lesson to be cautious. I have since purchased a newer BMW with...

Shop vac too powerful- fix or new vac?

Perfect that’s the “fix” I was looking for! That’s the issue now I think about it- it basically suctions on and won’t let go which makes it hard to move. So just make a couple small drill holes and add more as necessary?

Shop vac too powerful- fix or new vac?

I have a 5HP Dewalt shop vac but I find it’s too powerful, as soon as I touch the carpet it just wants to pull the carpet off… is there a way to work around the suction power, or should I purchase a smaller vacuum system for vacuuming up every day dirt from the carpets? If so, and money was no...

Hood covered in speckled dots, wetsand? More compounding? Clearcoat failure?

I looked today down the side of the car very carefully and I think you're right - I dont see any "speckles" down the doors etc, it just seems to be on the hood and roof. So even though I can't feel it with my nail etc, its too deep for any sort of correction? I ordered some CarPro Eraser to...

Hood covered in speckled dots, wetsand? More compounding? Clearcoat failure?

Thanks that's helpful for some direction. It was there long before I used M105... Paint is 040U Black. I know the clearcoat is hard because Ultimate Compound didnt even touch the swirls whatsoever. I did this small test area with my Rupes LHR75E, but I have a larger Porter Cable DA once I get...

Hood covered in speckled dots, wetsand? More compounding? Clearcoat failure?

I'm working on a complete paint correction on my 2008 MB E350 with 150k miles - 040 black paint. The results from the video are after 2 passes with M105 on a Rupes medium microfiber cutting pad, and finished with 2 passes of Sonax Perfect Finish with a Rupes yellow foam pad. As you can see, it...
