I searched and didn’t find a specific thread but...does beadmaker seem like a dust magnet to anyone else?

I think I replied to this topic on the Autogeek Facebook forum and this has been my issue with Beadmaker, as well. I'm in Arizona and my results have been less than impressive with Beadmaker. Yes, it's glossy. Yes, it's slick as snot. Yes, it initially has *some* hydrophobic properties when...

Review: BLACKFIRE One-Step Cleaner/Wax by Mike Phillips

Apparently, I'm very good at resurrecting old threads. I'm sorry. Just wanted to obtain some clarification and I see this was brought up a few a pages ago. I seem to recall in other places in the forum here that AIO's should be utilized solely with a polishing pad... yet, this particular...

Here's what you need to get into machine polishing - Recommendations for a beginner by Mike Phillips

Sorry again for bumping this old thread. Can any of you gentlemen advise typically how much AIO is needed on a typical pad? I'm using a Griot's DA with McKee's 360 on LC thin pro pads. I thought I remember reading somewhere on the forum that an AIO like 360 needs to be liberally applied to...

    What extractor are you using...?

I did a search, but a solid extractor thread hasn't come up in quite some time. I'm wondering what carpet extractor you guys are using, if any? I did a search and it seems like there's nothing solid in between the Bissell ProSpot for $99 and one of the upper echelon units that are in excess of...

Good rule of thumb when using an AIO - stick with foam polishing pads by Mike Phillips

I think someone else asked it earlier, but what LC foam pad is ideal for an AIO? There are multiple different LC foam pads. Which LC 'model' of the foam pad should be utilized? the CCS? the Hybrid? the Flat pads?

Multi-step process / how does this sound?

That sounds like a good plan... OK. I'll utilize the sealant and let it marinate (haha) for a couple of weeks. Then re-wash with a regular foam wash (not the Clean Slate) and then apply the wax. I'll also re-evaluate the swirls. I do not think there is anything major, but I've only waxed by...

Multi-step process / how does this sound?

I'm looking for feedback on what your thoughts are in regards to this multi-step process on my '11 Ram Sport 4WD Reg. Cab with 5.7L HEMI. The truck just ticked over 50K miles on the odometer. My commute is relatively short & we do not drive it on the weekends. We use my wife's car for errands...

Good rule of thumb when using an AIO - stick with foam polishing pads by Mike Phillips

This is an excellent read, but my apologies, I missed the part where the pad recommendation was given. There are a few in here that got tossed into the mix. Is it the LC green or white pad that should be utilized for an AIO? I'm interested in utilizing McKee's 360 as my AIO and am...

Any Amateur Radio Folks On The Forum?

I took the General class a few years ago, but haven't used it much at all. I had a handheld Yaesu, but sold it this past year. I thought it would come in handy and would be a fun hobby to try, but in the end - most of the channels and repeaters I hit were just old dudes talking about what...
