Well I picked up some more sandpaper and may attempt to get it flatter. Going to try a another test spot with the new paper on up and see how I feel. Thanks again for the help and comments.

Thank you! I did a spot test yesterday on the hood and it is getting there. Not sure how far into it I want to go. As the one poster stated, it will not be show car like, but that is not my goal, nor would I ever think I could spend $100 and get the best results ever. The truck is 20 years...
