This would be for myself. I was planning on having the valve cover gasket and intake plenum blasted and re-powerdercoated. So I assume there's nothing I can do other than media blast the other stuff as you had mentioned.
Anyone have any suggestions on how to detail this engine bay? Are the metal parts too far gone or is there anything I can do to clean up? See pics below.
Any and all suggestions welcome.
I'd suggest using a "clunk" and silicon fuel line used for R/C heli applications. Prior to recently getting back to my car addiction I spend several years flying Nitro R/C Helicopters. Clunks are used in the fuel tank to pickup fuel at any angle (see video at the bottom of this post :righton...
Most recently I've switched from Griots Garage Interior Detailer to using Pinnacle APC diluted 10:1 as result of dealing with some residue build up on my dash, as I found the GG wasn't strong enough for this particular application/issue. Please see this post for details: LINK With this in mind...
I recently purchased the Meguiars DA Microfiber System 5" as well as 3" backing plate and MF disks. What should I use for DA unreachable parts of the car to complement this system?
Any suggestion for polish, wax, applicator(s) for these hard to reach by machine areas? I'm thinking maybe...
OK so I ended up ordering the Meguiars DA Microfiber Correction System 5 Inch Starter Kit as well as 3" MF cutting, finishing, and 3" backing plate.
What should I use for smaller areas where the DA won't reach? Should I use the polish and finishing wax from the kit with hand applicators? If...
Thanks everyone! Based off everyone's response I'm going to go with the Meguiar's system as it seems to have the most flexibility depending what I'd like to accomplish per given vehicle. ...."Or you can wash/clay, and use JUST MF finishing disc with D301 wax (done that works as AIO for fine...

I recently purchased UIGP, Leather Masters cleaner, Vital, and Protectant. I've read along the way the UIGP could be a better option for leather protection. Is UIGP compatible with LM Vital to substitute the use of LM protection? Or am I better off sticking with all 3 Leather Masters products...
