I woke up this morning to white sand/dust on my car. What happened?

Lol, you're right. But I've lived here 10 years, and this is the first time I actually noticed this happening. I described it as sand-like, but it's very fine. Very odd that this is the first time I paid attention and noticed it. It was just poor timing I guess.

I woke up this morning to white sand/dust on my car. What happened?

I should have checked other cars near, but I only looked at mine and my wife's. Both had the same dusting, and I washed both cars yesterday. I didn't think I used a lot of product, so who knows? Honestly, it's the white dust/sand that's in the window trim that made me think I used too much...

I woke up this morning to white sand/dust on my car. What happened?

I washed my car yesterday via 2BM, and used Liquid Sovereign Spray Wax for the first time. Today, I woke up to a white sand-like dust on the top of my car, and in my window trim as well. There was also some of what seemed to be ash as well. I QD'd the roof of the car, so everything is fine...

Can I get a quick rundown of where the major coatings are manufactured?

Re: Can I get a quick rundown of wherei are manufactured? No, it isn't a deal breaker. I'm honestly just curious, that's all.

Can I get a quick rundown of where the major coatings are manufactured?

It's just CQuartz that's made in Japan, as far as I know. The rest of Carpro is from Korea. You make a great point, Bob. But for the sake of my question, I'm curious where everything is "assembled." Any further than that is a rabbit hole too deep for even me.

Can I get a quick rundown of where the major coatings are manufactured?

I know CQuartz is manufactured in Japan, but I can't find any info on other coatings. This is simply curiosity on my part. Where are the following coatings made: Opti-Coat 22ple GTechniq Pinnacle Black Label Or any other coatings I haven't listed as well. Thanks everyone.

On Trying New Products - For Me

I think you've got a great idea, but the only thing I would change is the Aquawax use. I wouldn't only relegate it for door jambs. It's a great, quick sealant that also is a nice drying aid. You get a great look for minimal effort, so please consider using it for maintenance for your paint. Once...

Is a paint cleanser necessary if you aren't going to polish?

Anyone else want to chime in? This is really helpful for me.

Is a paint cleanser necessary if you aren't going to polish?

Just found a chart that shows that Ultimate Polish is comparable to SF-4000. I answered my own question.

Is a paint cleanser necessary if you aren't going to polish?

What do you think about Ultimate Polish with a HT Tangerine? I would prefer not to buy any new polish/compounds until I can use up the majority of what I have. I really have too many products that I bought on a whim, so it's time I started using them instead of just buying new things.

Is a paint cleanser necessary if you aren't going to polish?

The way that I'm reading this, I'd be better off doing a 1 step with m205 or ultimate polish, or something equivalent, insetadof using White Wax. That would maximize my time?

Is a paint cleanser necessary if you aren't going to polish?

Didn't want to make a new topic, so hopefully some responds to this. I forgot that I got some Meguiars's White Wax at Target on clearance a few months ago, so I'd like to use it on my wife's GTI next week. Do you guys think I need to bother with a paint cleanser, since it's an technically an...

    Geez that stuff really works

I recently used this for the first time for my wheels, and it's great! I have a Ford Fiesta ST, which creates crazy amounts of brake dust. Maintenance has been a pleasure after using Hydro2 on them! I'm definitely a fan now.

Good paste wax to top on Wolfgang DGPS?

Not sure how it would look on top of DGPS, but I like Max Wax on several top of several other sealants I've tried. I feel that Max Wax is some of the best bang for buck wax there is.

    Any Audiophiles Here?

I wouldn't call myself an audiophile, but I do use what I and many others would consider "choice" hardware for certain listening applications. For music, I have a pair of Sony MDR-V6's, which many consider to the best bang for buck studio monitor headphones for the past 25+ years. I just want...
