With all the new products including coatings and others that contain graphene or ceramic I was just curious if anyone was still using optimum car wax or is that somewhat obsolete in the detailing world today?

Optimum car wax is now pink and their Instant detailer and gloss enhancer is now green. Are these new formulas? The car wax also seems more watery?

What is your favorite wax to make a white car pop? And do you like sealants or Carnauba waxes better for White paint?

What would you use?

Used this on a silver accord and it came out great. About to use on a car with a good amount of plastic trim. Does anyone know if it stains plastic or rubber trim?

I tried correcting this scratch with 3d One and a cutting pad. The area is now completely smooth but the scratch is still visible. Is there anything that can fix this besides wet sanding. Is the problem that all the paint was just taken off with the scratch? Is there anything that can fix this...

I just got a brand new 2019 honda which has soft paint (Dark grey). I have clayed it. Should I use menzerna 3800 polish and then a sealant or an AIO like Blackfire one step or meguiars 3 in 1 wax. I do not see any swirls or marring on the paint. I guess I am wondering if I really need to use a...

A quick update With Mikes advice I went back to the dealer and asked for a new car. I showed the dealer I was educated giving him the details of Mikes article on todays paint as well as how unhappy I was as a customer. As result I got a new car last week...FREE......NO CHARGE. I got silver...

I think I read it is ok to put sealant or wax on a brand new car immediately but I am just double checking because the date on the door is last month . Possibly only 2 weeks ago . Should I wait a little while or am I good to go?
