I have been on this forum and CG's All I do is headlights that is why I keep up with UV seals. I do a lot of car lot cars and they are in bad shape. Seals have worn out. have to sand complete lens and UV seal.

Deans Detailing: I know seals brake down over time I have great luck with CG's Jet Seal. Ever Brite cost under $30 dollars they say with proper care it can hold up for 2yr. Read VincenzaV Quote about wipe on and let dry 20 to 40 min. What is the cost of Opti seal. And who makes it?

DeansDetailing: what is the warrant on the Opt-Lense(months). The seal is the most important part of the process. Does not take long to turn the lense yellow with out UV protection .

LD I have found how to do a way with all he sanding scratches it takes time but it works. This one lot does truck and SUV and they have the UV Seal crack and flake ing try to sand the bad spots and you take out the seal and you have to do the whole lense to make it blend.

I did 8 set of truck head lights had to cut UV seal out . I dry sand with 150 grit on some on some 220 grit to start then 300, 400, 500, 800 all dry then 1000, 1500, 2000, 2500, all wet then Abralon 3000, 4000, moist. The n polished and UV seald. Takes time but it works.

At $1600 a pop to replace you have some nerves. Lense had lite blue tint. I used 3"Griot DA 220 dry then Abralon500-1000-2000-3000-4000 not dripping wet but moist . Then polished and sealed . He was like a kid on XMAS. and I could breath again . The edge is the hard part but if you cover...
