Hey Mike. Many years ago I took one of your detailing classes and learned a lot about car care. I'm still a fanatic!
I just purchased a mint condition 2016 BMW that is entirely covered by 3M's film coating. Do you have any advice on the care and maintenance of the film? I'm going to miss...
Mike--I took the 101 class back in June (black Mustang Cobra convertible with the chemical residue). Can I just come back for the Sunday class now? Thanks
Russ DeLuca
Mike taught us how to use a rotary buffer which scared the heck out of me before last Saturday. I had used an orbital many times on the hood with several different products but nothing worked. The key to the rotary is slow speed and correct pressure. I'm looking forward to trying it myself.
DonMTV--the top surfaces of the Mustang had the chemical residue, not the sides. Mike graciously showed us how to work out the stains on the hood. I have the trunk and spoiler left to do. There were some scratches that came out also. The swirl marks Mike referred to were from the rotary. Thanks...
Mike the class was great. It is very daunting to work on the paint of a car you treasure, however the knowledge you passed along to us left me with the confidence to continue on my own without so much fear. It was also refreshing to meet some other "geeks". My neighbors are always kidding me...
