Hello. New guy and business in Hartford Ky.

Well...... I'm sorry I missed these last few responses. Didn't notice my notifications or something. Lol yes sir that IS the carlot I speak of. Still there. I have one full time and two part time employees now. Just ordered a Makita PO 5000C after demoing it and the Pace Paint finishing system...

    Presta Pace Paint Finishing System

Does anyone have any experience with the Presta Pace Paint refinishing system? I tried it briefly when I demoed a Makita PO5000C. The pads were more firm and dense than any I've felt before. . You could do a 3' by 3' section with only 2 chocolate chip size drops of compound on the pad.

    Which polisher should I get?

FINALLY.... I was the emailer in the OP above. Long story short I've had a TON of issues getting logged in... thus the email. I'm fairly tech savvvy .... certainly enough to handle forums but some kinda glitch was on my account. Even resetting my password didn't work. I was emailed new...

Hello. New guy and business in Hartford Ky.

I am still here. Climate controlled is now heat. No sir. But that's ok. I still have mainly senior citizens and soccer moms in my county. Very little t no demand for any high end work. I do quick car washes in and out for $40-50, a mid range which is just more thorough cleanups, but still no...

    Meguiars AP wheel cleaner

Does anyone have a side by side comparison between Meguiars detailer line Non Acid Tire and Wheel Cleaner and their OTC product Hot Rims All Tire and Wheel cleaner? Their OTC seems really nice..... however i did follow up a tire today that was cleaned 2 times with Hot Rims and followed that up...

    Mothers/meguiers wheel cleaners

I can't knock the product itself either. Its just crazy that its cheaper to buy the OTC bottles than the gallon.

    Mothers/meguiers wheel cleaners

I totally agree. It would cost an arm and a leg to buy Mothers Foaming Tire and Wheel cleaner this way. The price is crazy high for a gallon. By the time you buy it and ship it....its much much cheaper to buy over the counter.

If you call Duragloss and find a local distributer, you can order a 5 gallon bucket of BRC's Car Wash Concentrate. Its made by Duragloss. The BRC stands for Brothers Research Corporation. The parent company for DG. Its green and smells spearmint but is the same stuff.

Give us your best Detailing invention or service idea

Wow. You make my sweet deal seem even sweeter. I have a friend whos been selling cars for years. He has a heated one year old wash bay. Lots of lighting. Big enough for two vehicles at a time. Big drain in the floor. I rent it for my business at $300 per month and they pay utilities! :) we...

    my atv wheels

I do own a car cleanup shop but haven't been beyond a production detailer yet. However I want to at least TRY to make my atv wheels look better. In the pic you can see my new one to replace one that was bent. The old one is beside it and the other 3 are just as neglected and ugly. Pitted to. Ok...
