Meg's #7, when do you use it?

Hi all, I was just introduced by another forum member to Meg's #7 glaze. My first impression was WOW peanut butter? I have a thread started a while back with a badly damaged hood that needed some life put back into her. The #7 helped by adding some much needed oil back into the cracks. I was...

Tree sap!!! How to remove it?!?!

I just removed a bunch off of a roof with mothers clay bar kit. After you use it though you have to throw away the clay. So kind of expensive but very fast. Also there is a product at ace hardware called Holy Cow, it is a pink cleaning solution for general cleaning. It works great on glues and...

Can I save this hood? opinion...

Not really, this hoods paint is very thin and the #7 restored tons of life back into her. That Opti-Seal would not have given me any more depth or richness based on the hood alone.

Honestly if I had wet sanded it down it could have came out a lot better. Not having a rotary really left me handicapped in this correction however. Here are some pics that do her justice. Thanks for all the help!

OK, So I finished the Burb today, and let me say "Holy SH^$ Suburbans are much bigger when you have to detail one!" This vehicle felt like I was on an endless detailing trip. So the hood came out OK. That's it just OK. From far off it looks better than most, but up close I just could not...

Thanks for all the help! I am on other forums for other hobbies of mine and there is no where near this speed of responses. Thanks for making this forum work! I am working on this vehicle one panel at a time since it is needing a great deal of attention. I will probably start back on the...

All I have to say is a DA is not enough muscle for my taste! I have never used one before this vehicle and I am hating every minute. I feel like I am just spinning my wheels. Its all I have and funds are a factor. This is why I am trying to save the hood in the first place. Could you...

Will the MF cutting pad be better than the orange foam pad I am using? What is MF? What about wet sanding now? I used to detail million dollar yachts, and go through about a half gallon of compound a day with a rotary, I just didn't want to start out on cars with a rotary due to the paint...

Well before I started to buff out the scratches they felt as if they were raised. Almost filled in with years of dirt and bad fillers of sorts. After using 105 many times they are very fine and hair like. The finger nail will not snag on the parts that I have gone over already. I have never...

Hello All, I have a new/old car and am working on getting it in order (I am a perfectionist at pretty much everything). The vehicle is a 2002 suburban with the dark red color in the LT model. Most of the paint is workable. The roof is shot, about 20-30% is missing clear coat and most likely...
