Hello everyone, I’m going to be polishing a car with proximity sensors in the painted part of the bumper for the first time. How do you guys normally handle them? Do you tape over them, polish carefully around them or just polish right over them? Thanks for any thoughts!

For the moment I don’t seem to have much choice in the matter. Most of the coatings I’ve seen require a pretty extended cure time and I don’t have access to a garage. I’d have to take my car to someone to get a coating done and I’d prefer to do my own work if possible. Thanks!

My plan was to buy a couple different polishes and try them to see which works best with my car. My PC came with three hex logic pads, a white one, a black one, and an orange one. Is a white Lake country pad equivalent to the white hex logic?
