couple of things here
Honda is the best generator out there but it runs about 2K.
Ive had my harbor freight generator for about 2 years and it has not let me down.(please generator this is not a challenge, don't start now) Its way less expensive ($500) and runs all the things you need to run. I...
I have been through so many different brushes as well. I have found that the wheel Woolie has been the best so far. Its on the $$$ side but it gets in the well really good and well. Ive tried the other ones like the EZ detail brush but the just make a bigger mess when you are cleaning the rims...
Best way to dry a car is to air dry it with a blower. Chemical guys offers the blowers for like 50 bucks good investment for your spot paint. You also need a whole lot of patience because it might take some time. To speed up the process of drying, make sure you have a good wax on the the truck...
White cars generally have iron dust, little orange dust marks. Best way to remove those are if you get a clay pad, nankin has them. Use it with an orbital and some spray wax. That will remove it right away. It will not harm the paint as it is design for this. Just make sure the surface if well...
By using the damp towel you will remove the wax really well but it will not give it the time it needs to cure. most waxes need at least 24 hours for the wax to bond to the paint, making it last the recommended time it states. You're basically impeding the bonding time it needs with the damp...
I've been told that I should have gotten the 2500 because it's less stress on the tranny and deferential. I'm getting about 13mpg. I live in California so I have to deal with traffic all day long. Also I use premium gas, it helps a lot.
I also heard that I should put a knn air filter and...
I use sonar cheaper that buying the ironx but works just as well. As far as being safe for paint it is. Wear gloves, eye wear, and give your distance. Safe for wheels and the whole car. And can be diluted too.
Electric is good but you can't beat the power ofollowing the gas. Gas gives you that deep thick foam. Even in the California sun the car will look amazing. I use mine with a foamed, I have a 2800psi this thing really makes washing these luxury cars easy and with the di water it's pretty safe.
Sorry it took a goood minute to set it all up. I used Gladiator shelves, Ikea wire baskets. I have a 90 gallon tank, a DI filter to refill with out having to go to the shop. A Harbor freight generator, which has lasted two years. 1700 psi gas pressure washer. And like 200 towels.
Does anyone here have the new nissan nv model? Just got mine and was trying to get some ideas on the whole set up. So much space! Anyone ever have any issues with parking structures?
You might need to adjust the valve, might just be realizing more water than soap. The foam gun that I use has a valve that let's me control the amount of soap I want. Also the type of soap you are using might not be to foamy.
