Looks like a suspect mixture (some sort of glaze mixed with something else that would wash off straight away in the first wash) I think he told you wash it every other week so that would give him enough time to get away.

Nice tips, sometimes I bypass these faults because a owner isn't aware of them, plus the tip on interior plastics I will try on my car (I am going out to buy a heat gun now).

Yes I understand your problem, I just hate that rust on the rotors. I think the solution is to drive the car with light application of brakes, it doesn't need much to get the rotors clean. I never thought that when it rains the rotors must get rust just like a wash.

Just don't drop it on the floor when you knock it out of the tin, the expensive waxes always just pop out of the tin especially for this purpose, the cheaper waxes never come out of the tin.
