Bought another bottle and it smells the same. Nextzett ruined the scent as far as I'm concerned.

There was a very clear difference between the older bottle I had (branded as 1z/Einszett) and the newer (Nextzett branded). The older stuff smelled much nicer, no chemically smell to it at all. Surely I'm not the only one that noticed, unless it was just an "off" batch that I got.

Did they change the scent or the formula when it switched from 1z to Nextzett? It smells predominantly like harsh chemicals with only a slight hint of citrus. The last bottle I had, which was still branded 1z at the time, had a nice light citrus smell and nothing else. Did I just get a bad...

Just to be clear, I washed the car thoroughly before putting it away. So it is clean already, although there is probably just a bit of light dust on it by now since that was almost a month ago.

It's sitting in the garage all winter long, which gives me plenty of time to do a thorough detail inside and out. Thanks for the explanation, that helps. Would you say the hydrophobic properties of Reload aren't as good as the Cquartz coating by itself? How long does a Reload application...

So it's a sealant that sits on top of the Cquartz? Is there really any benefit to that versus just leaving the coating as is? Correct me if I'm wrong but I would think the coating has better durability and hydrophobic properties without adding a spray sealant on top of it? Only asking since...

I also tried applying the AIO with a machine on a few panels and ran into the same issues as you. I had a few spots where the product dried out and I had to spray a little QD to remove. I get the feeling the SG will do the same thing. Think I'll stick with hand application for now.

Ok, sounds good. Has anyone tried using a buffer to apply or remove the SG? I've only done it by hand, but I do have a PC 7424XP I could use. Any difference in the results between hand or machine application?
