    Clear Coat peel off

Mike, you are correct from a business perspective, but that doesn't really answer the question. I have the same problem. I have taken possession of my mother-in-law's 1999 Honda Accord (she died) and it's black and was occasionally washed but maybe only waxed once or twice (probably by me)...

    HOW TO REMOVE RAINx PLEASE

Couple of layers? Did you read the directions? Like most automotive products if you don't follow the directions and apply it wrong you can cause problems and even damage. Properly applied Rain-x is fabulous and does not go anywhere except your glass. It is like wax, you only apply just...

    Naphtha

Interesting. I've used it on literally dozens of my personal vehicles and never had a problem. My glass is crystal clear with RainX applied. However it was a mess at first until I learned how to apply it correctly. And I have never had wipers harden any faster with it, but again I had to...

    Naphtha

Hopefully this isn't too off-topic, but why would you want to remove RainX?

2007 Tacoma bumper cover has anyone seen this??

My dad has the same truck but in a navy blue. Those are bolted on factory fender flares, not metal but made of the same plastic/PVC/rubbery material as the bumpers. If anyone ever looked at these when they were brand new they are intentionally made that way by Toyota, the texture is made into...

    meguiars gold wash

No idea, but what really bothers me about Megs retail products is the 3 different branding/price points for everything. You've got the Ultimate, the Gold Class, and the Deep Crystal wash. And 3 different prices. I have always bought the Deep Crystal wash because it was the cheapest, but after...

    Trim care

This will be a bit of a 'getto' fix, and obviously wouldn't be suitable for anything remotely sporty. But considering this is an old Cherokee... If you want an almost permanent fix that will stand up to almost anything (going offroad?) get a can of high-heat exhaust or BBQ grill black spray...

Which color cars get pooped on the most

From my experience it has far more to do with where it is parked. If it is parked near a tree, light pole, overhead utility lines, edge of a building, etc. it will get pooped on. If it is out in an open lot far from those things it very rarely will.

Scion FR-S This thing is super hot!!!

Toyota owns part of Subaru, and the car was jointly developed. It happens a lot. Ever hear of Geo? Mostly re-badged Isuzus. Ford re-badged a lot of Mazdas over the years before they sold most of their share of Mazda ownership. Small and slow? I think you miss the point. It is intended to...

Detailing Aluminum Foil on a car??

That isn't a Saturn, that is a Dodge Neon. Saturns have plastic side panels.

I caught this SOB car salesman trying to pull a fast one...

I know a few current and former new car salesmen, and I'd bet they are required by the sales manager to add that on, their computer is probably programmed to add it automatically. I suspect he is trying to smooth things over by up-selling you to the loaded one. The hardest units to move are...
