From what I have seen from actual Meguiars employees comments on the the Ultimate Coating, it has nothing in common with their Hybrid Paint Coating. According to Meguiars, this will harden and is an actual ceramic.

Collinite still has a following that I am sure will try this out. Still a lot of people that use wax and like the cathartic experience it can bring when applying it. I am sure Collinite will sell to those that want to stay within the family for their topper.

I would use a normal wheel cleaner. Hit it a few times and agitate it well with a wheel brush. You could also use some compound by hand to remove it.

Is it Meguiars doing it themselves, or a 3rd party that has all distribution rights for Meguiars in Australia?

Silver is the easy choice in my opinion. White shows so much more dirt than silver. I also like some of the comments on the light grey colors that have come out recently. Lot's of flake is the key with either silver or grey.

Another great option is Sonax Brilliant Shine Detailer. It will have tremendous hydrophobics, easily outlast both AW and D156. Only down side is it is not slick to the touch.

One more thing to add...One issue I found with both DG Aquawax and Meg's D156 is after a rain, my cars were always covered in dirt/water dust spots. I know it isn't sold on AG, but I have found TW Ice Spray Wax is much better in that regard and does not leave as much dirt on my cars. This is...

I have tried both. Aquawax is very nice, however, I prefer the look of the D156. DG Aquawax gives a bright, candy coated shine look to my old eyes. I find the D156 a more muted look.

Yes, it is showing as available on the Autogeek site. I believe it is only some of the autoparts stores that have dropped it. If you think about it logically, most people aren't willing to pay $30 plus for detailing supplies at the major chains. Sonax tried selling their products at Advance...

I think there was something funky as you mentioned in the application. I still blame ONR. I have never had PNS hold onto water, just the opposite in fact.

Not the new Collinite AIO, it is a newer product, two or three years ago it was brought out. Look into Collinite 325. It is 100% clear coat safe, won't stain trim (didn't for me). Very, very nice AIO.
