Why I'm not and never been a fan of waffle weave drying towels

Drying cars is the worst part for me, I hate to do it and I feel like I’m always inducing more swirls I bought some of the PFM towels, and they do work good. I used it with Wolfgang QD, and it does work. But geese I think I went through a half bottle of the QD. It’s not a very “cost effective”...

    The best drying method/tools?

So I bought the McKees turbo car dryer, and honestly I find it horrible. It works good blowing down like the doors and stuff. But the hood, roof, hatch areas it doesn’t even move the water. The griots towels are nice though, I do like them a lot.

    The best drying method/tools?

So when you guys use a detail spray while drying, what exactly does that do? And just spray the panel you’re about to dry, then wipe it with a MF?

    The best drying method/tools?

Thanks guys. I think I’ll place an order for the PFM and McKee’s turbo car dryer. Appreciate the info!

    The best drying method/tools?

Hey guys, so I have a real basic question. I’ve done so many searches, and I really can’t find a definitive (or close to) way to dry a car. I bought a 1993 Toyota Supra TT in Red back in April. The paint was already in really good condition. Minus the rock chips on the front bumper, but that’s...

What to use to top Collinite 845?

I'll have to try some of the sonus stuff. I pretty much only have Wolfgang stuff, Collinite 845, and some pinnacle/blackfire stuff. I think for now, I'm going to use a QD on top of the 845 my next wash, then I'll try using the 845 as a topper. Next spring, I'm definitely going to try the...

What to use to top Collinite 845?

Last time I detailed the car, I spent about 7-8 hours on it. Between washing, clay, swirl remover, polish and wax. I'd hate to have to do all that again basically only 2 months later. The Collinite is still beading pretty good, just seems like it lost a little bit of its shine. So I'd like to...

What to use to top Collinite 845?

Thanks, I was having a hard time understanding that, lol. What would be the best way to remove the Collinite? Without taking out the pinnacle cleansing polish? I did like Collinite a lot, so I may try to put the Wolfgang deep gloss sealant on it, see how I like it and maybe re-apply Collinite...

What to use to top Collinite 845?

I was actually very impressed with the Collinite 845. My car is outside most of its time, it's not kept in a garage unfortunately. Do do you think I could put Wolfgang deep gloss paint sealant on top of the Collinite with a CCS red pad? Im not really sure of the order to put certain things...

What to use to top Collinite 845?

Hey everyone, new here. I just recently did a full detail on my car. It's a 1993 Toyota Supra in renaissance red. I did a lot of searching on here, and helped me out a lot. It was my first time using the porter cable. The car came out great. I used CCS Yellow pad CCS white pad CCS red pad...
