Could a coating be an answer to my problems?

I have been using Opti-coat for the last couple years, and I can tell you that particularly on my Infiniti G35(very soft paint, seemed to swirl from a stiff breeze), it has greatly decreased swirls and makes cleaning much easier. Incidentally, if you want to top it with something, Opti-seal does...

Micrfiber Towel lint left on car after removing wax or drying. WHY?

Huck cotton towels are the best I've used on glass. They are specifically made not to shed fibers. "Lint", or shed fibers, may be an annoyance while detailing, but are of extreme concern in the operating room.

    { Pet Peeve's } Detailing

The hose blocker really works. I was skeptical at first, but it works for both hoses and cords.

    I bought Opti-Coat but I am concerned

On very soft black, I've had good luck with Menz 106, 85rd on LC black, HT tangerine, and prep for OC with OPC( wipe with sheepskin mit). OC with suede MF.

What Type of Wheels Do I Have?

The best wheel sealant I have used(other than Opticoat), is KSG, a couple of coats lasts months. It is also a good headlight sealant(not as good as Opticoat).

    leather care?

If you have the time to let it dwell, I have found Leatherique to work extremely well on old hard leather, or newer, more supple seats and trim. To do its' best, leaving the first stage on for 24-36 hours seems about optimal(in the sun, closed car). It really has done wonders on 15-30 year old...

Does opti-coat protect against swirls & chips?

I have used opti coat on 4 cars now(2 black, one pearl, one red) over the last 5 months, so I cannot comment on long time durability(that has been done elsewhere). I have been quite impressed with this product in all respects. On very soft black(Infiniti G35), it has definitely helped decrease...

    Hard water etching time?

Don't feel sorry for your stomach, it produces hydrochloric acid and enzymes that will severely damage your paint, and even body panel steel( ever see what emesis, or more comonly known as vomit will do to a car finish?). Besides, the stomach lining is constantly being replaced by new cells. Now...

    Leatherique

I just used it on 2 black leather interiors(8 year old Infiniti, and 17 year old GM- C4), left it on 36 hour in the sun(OK it was dark for like 9 hours). It made quite a difference in the softness of the seats(the C4 seats were very stiff). In the past I have only let the oil dwell for 6-8...

    Best wheel cleaner for BMW

I have tried alot of waxes/sealants on wheels over the years, and KSG is the longest lasting IME. Now Opticoat may change that( I have it on 3 vehicles/and their wheels at present). KSG works best with multiple coats. And yes I have tried wheel waxes, 845, 476, and other sealants.
