I've used APC and APC+ in my wash bucket, sprayed directly on the paint and in a foam cannon and have never had a problem. Pretreating bugs with APC+ works great as well. Just don't let it dry.

Do you have pictures of the kit? I know the professional tools cost thousands and the training costs thousands as well.

Why would you ditch the megs backing plate when you need it for the mf system? I would just get another backing plate for your foam pads. Fyi I've never had any problems with Lake country pads on a megs back plate but I haven't used the hydrotechs so maybe they don't play well with the megs...

Iron X failed to remove embedded brake dust for me. Only thing worked was a lot Megs wheel brightener and a stiff brush.

I use it straight for tires and wheel wells. It says you can dilute it for paint and interior stuff but I use it strictly for tires and wheel wells.

I have both but the griots has the edge by a little. The lifetime warranty and being cheaper is definitely a plus

I think so too. I had 3 2oz samples I put together in a 12oz bottle but I may have just contaminated all of them considering the dusting is not common.

I finally had the opportunity to try out my wdgps 3.0 samples and got extreme dusting after removing. Prep included clay and Meguiars Ultimate Polish and hand applied wdgps lightly all over the car before waiting 30min to remove. I used about 1oz on a S550. I used meguiars supreme shine...
