Griots All in One Ceramic Wax

I finally picked up a bottle as I needed a product for 2 jobs and I didn’t have time to order other AIOs. Has anyone experienced pad staining after using this product? Their One Step Sealant never had that issue. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Matte Coating Question

Several Tesla models I’ve run across have matte trim (door handles, window trim, mirror holders, wheels, etc) while the paint is multi stage. If you coat the matte trim, will the coating resist spray on ceramic products like 303 Touchless, etc? Looking for a fast way to brighten the paint...

First time detailing. My apologies, but I have to ask the questions

Reading and research are important but only to a degree. You have the general idea and received good advice on the products and pads. I’d have to suggest HD One, HD Speed and HD Poxy which are excellent on black paint, easy to use and works well with a variety of pads. Once you start trying to...

    Best Tip Ever Received

Today I did an all in one on a Honda van. While detailing it the client was smoking meat for dinner and an upcoming trip. Long story short, he gave me two smoked pork loins which are incredibly flavorful and tender. Anyone too that?

    Meguiar’s Wash Plus+

I love the product. I bought about 5 bottles when it was cleared out of AA. I’m down to my last bottle. I use it on really dirty vehicles and it performs well. I hate that it’s gone but at least I experienced it and can still clean more vehicles.

Finished my Meguiars D156, What should I replace it with?

D156 is a great product. I was also looking for something else and tried Bead Maker and still use it. Very easy to use with great shine and slickness. Since I’m always doing my vehicles, I can’t attest to longevity. On client cars, it seems to fit the bill.

    Headlight cleaning. Haze

I’ve started with HD Speed, GG All in One Sealant, etc and have gotten good result. As others have mentioned, compounds and polishes as well. If the headlights are really bad, step up to headlight restoration kit or sanding.

Neighbor has a carpet cleaning company, anyone know if it’s safe for him to use his equipment in my car?

You should be good to go. Extractors are probably what he has along with chemicals used for stains, heavy traffic areas, etc. After he’s done, leave the windows cracked if possible and turn on your seat warmers.

    Thank you Mike Phillips

Thanks for the detailing education both online and at Detail Camp Sept 2014 Mike. I remember emailing you just days prior to the class about availability and there was an opening. It was a pleasure meeting you and working on so many fun cars. Something I’ll never forgot. Best wishes

    Camper Detailing

I had a prospective client contact me to detail (to be determined as to what they expect) a small fiberglass camper. Is there anything I need to consider when detailing a camper, fiberglass, etc? Best products to use? Pic of the camper below. Thanks for any tips and advice. Sent from my...
