Is there any remedy to brake fluid damage to single stage paint; beside a respray?...

paint peeled off customers car when removing 3m tape! customer is asking to pay for damage

That's not MB OEM paint on that fender. It wouldn't be flaking like that. That is tissue thin like it's a cheap SS paint. From the looks of the marks that were under the paint, there isn't primer in some spots. And it looks like there were already some chips and rust on that edge, and possible...

Help -- Can't get detergent out of MF Towels

Get some Oxi powder(oxi clean or store brand is fine) and soak them in a tote/bucket in hot water(not luke warm) for about six hours(that's about how long the oxi chemical is active). You can boil them as well, and or add boiling water the container they are going to soak in; just make sure they...

Looking for a new Waterless Wash

Opti-clean is my go-to waterless wash when it comes to cleaning and protection. The dilution can be adjusted for your liking since the 1:3 ratio is a bit strong for most scenarios. I usually use it at more of a 1:4-1:5 ratio and apply it with a wet microfiber to make it go even further. I use it...

    Glaze question

What are you looking to achieve with a glaze? And whose vehicle(s) are you glazing and for what reason? For lighter vehicles I like Optimum GPS. And for darker vehicles I really like PB's Black Hole. Cleans really well, easy to apply/remove, and fills light-medium scratches/swirls really well.

Towel wringer (washing small MF towel loads)

For that kinda money I would just invest in a new washer that can handle small loads. My front end loader does fine with light small loads, and gets MFs very dry so that dry is very quick.

Perplexed: DA 5.5 pad orange/green polishing

Ultimate polish isn't really a swirl remover. It's more of a glaze that fills in light defects before waxing. The pad of choice may, however, allow some light defect removal. The reasoning for the green pad performing "better" than the orange pad may have something to do with the density of the...

    303 which one to get

303 AP can be used on almost any surface. Their clear vinyl protectant cleaner is for just that; like on boats, jeeps, tents, campers, etc. It is a new product so until now most people were probably using 303 AP on clear vinyl/plastic. While it will work, now they have a product designed...

    Oops...first mistake... (Flex PE8 slipped)

I don't care whether Mazda paint is considered hard or soft, it is some of the thinnest paint I have come across from an OEM. That said I wouldn't be doing too much correction on them, especially trying to go surgical near the edges. Hope you find a painter that makes you happy. Thanks for...

    Rough Paint

I would recommend mf cutting pads and a compound like M101 or FG400. But, since you don't have any of that on hand I would go with you your densest, heaviest cutting pad, with Fixer and or advanced swirl remover. And possibly go buy some Meg's ultimate compound and or M105. Speed 5-6, firm...
