I have never used 4 Star products. I almost bought some at one time to give a try but decided to stick with my usual Optimum car care products and didn't look back. I will look into 4 Star though and see what I come across... Thanks!

Just be sure to use a lubricant/polish and not use it dry on chrome or glass and it will work fine without scratching. As Kristopher said, on bare metal that is no coated with chrome it will leave fine scratches.

Yes. Happens with compound and steel wool or polish and steel wool. Wear gloves when using it to keep it off your hands.

I see what you are getting at but I beleive a good sealant with a 12-24 hour bonding period and then wax adds a touch more gloss and depth than just a sealant. Optimum Power Clean works great! 3:1 dilution or 1:1 or full strength depending on how caked on the brake dust is. OPC is the best APC out there IMO. SONAX Full Effect is a great wheel cleaner but definately on the pricey side...
