I don't know for sure but my instinct tell me its 2 coats to ensure 100 percent coverage. Either way when it comes to ceramic coatings or any other products for that matter, its usually best to follow the manufacturers recommendations to be safe.
Thanks for starting this thread. I was wondering the same thing. I don't mean to take this off topic but i was wondering if ceramic coatings would work in a shower as well? How cool would it be to use the hydrophobic properties of a CC in a shower? Anyone ever tried it?
I'm very thankful so many of you have chimed in to offer advice. Thank you. I thought that an IPA wipe or Gyeon prep what have you was necessary after the polishing step in order to get proper adhesion when applying the Sealant. Thanks to all of your help I think that would have been unnecessary...
I was leaning paste/liquid carnauba wax then maintain with my spray wax. I use either Megs synthetic X-Press spray wax or I use Griots Best of Show Detailer spray wax. What Carnauba would look amazing? Paste or liquid? What carnauba spray wax do you suggest? Thank you.
2017 Corvette Torch Red.
Plan,
Wash
Clay (If Needed)
Polish M205 or Sonax Perfect Finish
Prep with IPA or Gyeon Prep
Seal with Jescar Power Lock ( Wait 24 Hours) then,
Wax with Carnauba? OR?
Any comments suggestions welcome.
