how to remove baked on wheek brake dust and grime!

On my track wheels, which has a whole lot of baked on brake dust after a weekend or two of play, I have used almost every type of wheel cleaner. Some work better than others. The BEST stuff I use is 'Goof Off'. Safe on the finish and just destroys brake dust, tar, rubber from the track etc...

    Dodo Diamond White first impressions

DW is very good. It is the best I have found for White colors... Durability is very good (6 months) if you do quick maintenance toppers once a month or so using whatever your favorite carnauba quick detail have.

    On car life of DGPS?

My job allows for ZERO mistakes or failures, so detailing helps clear the mind. I just ordered some more car wash, a big jar of Dodo Juice Diamond White Hard Wax and another bottle of Collinite 845 . I have heard that Dodo its pretty good on White, so I decided to fine out.

    On car life of DGPS?

Thanks everyone for the information. That's sorta what I was figuring. I find that my sessions with the clay/way etc. are sorta therapeutic. It allows me to totally clear the mind and not think of anything, with a side benefit of keeping the car clean.

    On car life of DGPS?

I have performed my search but cannot come up with a good (general) answer to this question. Knowing that there are several factors that affect the life of a wax or sealant (or both), I am looking for a general or average life span for DGPS... The AG store talks about longevity of DGPS as...

    DGPS in progress....

Since I needed to do a detail and winterizing on my BMW, I decieded to use DGPS on my M Coupe'. This is the first time I have used DGPS on a white car. Washed and clayed the car this morning. Since the temperature outside is 49', pulled it into the garage to keep the car heated and to let...

    Clear-bra

I have the 3M Invisabra on my White ///M Coupe and have found it was the best money spent on protecting the front end and side rockerpanels I have spent. The side rocker panels were covered with one continuous sheet from wheel to wheel. I have had 10 track days this year with the Invisabra...

What's the best wax for a white car?

Many, many very good suggestions in the previous posts. In my opinion, it really comes down to what your personal tastes and perceptions are and looking at pictures of other cars should help you with that. I always lean towards Pinnacle products since I have had very good luck with them and my...

Dumb Question: How cold is too cold to apply?

Thanks Mike. Good info and tip on the search term. I did do a search but 'ambient' would have been much faster.. Since I have a good window this weekend, tonight I am going to order some DGPS and Dodo Diamond White hard to see how they hold up. I do love Pinnacle products but since winter...

Dumb Question: How cold is too cold to apply?

Just checked the long range forecast (yea I know, voodoo science) and it is supposed to be 55 on Saturday... Looks like a window of opportunity has opened up.

Dumb Question: How cold is too cold to apply?

It's been over two months since I applied Liquid Sovereign to my Alpine White ///M Coupe. Now it's cold, about 40' out and my garage is not heated. After six track days and numerous washes since my last wax, the Coupe needs a good clay and wax for winter. I use Liquid Sovereign on the...
