What's your least favorite thing to do wile doing a detail?

Glass (inside and outside) is the last step for me as well. What I do is spray the glass with a glass cleaner, wipe it, let it dry for a minute or so, then go back with a dry cloth and "buff" it Mr. Miyagi style...No streaks but a P.I.T.A. process! I agree with a lot of you saying pet hair and...

Critique my plan of attack, please!

wipe dirt away from tarred areas then pour some mineral spirits into a spray bottle and douse the tar down and let it set a few minutes then wipe right off with a cloth. I then wash the vehicle then work on removing bugs from the front end, mirrors, front of the roof top, etc. then wash off...

How to remove water spots by hand

Awesome write up, man :) What I always do is constantly keep the vehicle wet during the entire washing process even when you are cleaning wheel wells, wheels, tires, etc. Keep spraying the vehicle down! Don't give the water any time to dry at all until you are completely ready to towel off...

Are you using anything to remove tar, and if so, what step are you doing that at? I usually wipe down the areas that have tar on them then remove the tar as my step one.

    Stripping tires not fun

I spray the tires down with Purple Power, let it sit a minute, then take some all purpose cleaner mixed with a little water, and a scrub brush and go to town on them, then hose off..Works great :) Let them dry and dress the tires with a couple of coats or so with your favorite tire shine :)
