    Any drag racers here?

Nice Monte. Would love to see pictures of it when it's done. The LT1/T56 combo will be a really nice setup. The LT1 in my old '94 took a beating daily and never skipped a beat. Best of luck it!

    Any drag racers here?

Oh you can't imagine. To me,they feel like runflats. I'm looking into the BFGs. From what I've read, I heard they're a little bit better than the Nittos. I've also been checking out the Hoosier drag radials as well. Trying to see what will work best for my stock trans and diff without trying to...

    Any drag racers here?

Thank you. I'm getting closer, but not quite into the 11s yet. Going back again sometime this week or weekend. My best run today was a 12.279 @ 116.94 with a 1.942 60'. Best 60' was a 1.896. The Firestones that I'm on are their Firehawk Wide Ovals. Next step is some drag radials :D

    Any drag racers here?

I'll be heading back to the track tomorrow with my Z. My current setup is a set of American Racing headers and catted x-pipe, Vararam intake and a tune by Doug at East Coast Supercharging. Car makes 380rwhp and 380rwtq. I ran a best of 12.324 @ 117.35 with a 1.98 60' last Sunday on a set of...

AmmoNYC $2 Million Ferarri: Prep + Polish (Part 1)

Even though the water is still leaking out of the hose, putting a kink in it and sliding it under the tire is a pretty smart idea. Better than those that would just let the water pour out lol. However, it still uses a considerable amount, for those that are water conscience. The dirty towel...

    Plasti-dip??

:iagree:That happened to me the last time I did my wheels. When I went to go take it off, the spots that had thick, heavy coverage came off no problem, but the spots that were lacking that coverage didn't peel up with the rest of the dip. A spritz or two of my CG Hybrid V7 and a microfiber towel...

    Plasti-dip??

I've PlastiDipped the emblems, chrome wheels and rear lower bumper on my Z multiple times and never had a problem with the stuff. It can be a little aggravating trying to get the stuff out of cracks and crevices, but overall it's very easy to use and pretty much fool proof. And remember, if you...

Cloth to Remove Interior Dust Daily / Cleaning Clear Plastic?

I always keep a microfiber towel, or two, in my car to quickly wipe it down if it gets dusty. THIS is another viable alternative if you don't mind spending $15 for it. I have the larger version and it works great for getting light dust off the car.

Review: Chemical Guys Silk Shine on tires

I also noticed the difference in looks between tires. I achieve a gloss look a lot faster on the Firestones on my Z compared to the Conti's on my mom's Escape. This stuff works great on the plastics in my interior and under the hood though. I even use it on my PlastiDipped wheels.
