Yes all rattle cans using the products I originally posted about. It was 3 thin layers per coat, 2 coats total. Very impressed with the spray pattern and finish.

Update Finally got around to doing this July 4th weekend. The car is looking very sharp, and my grandfather is one happy man. Thanks for all the helpful advice! For future search reference, this color was a clear coated paint as mentioned earlier.

I have not tried a tar remover. The lighting makes it look black, but it is most certainly brown caked in brake dust and road grime. I have a steamer, would that work at helping remove this?
