Need pointers on detailing a 14 foot camper

I guess it depends on what the black streaking is? Could be road tar, could be tree sap, could be a ton of different things. Have you tried cleaning it off yet? Does the client have any idea what it could be?

Washer Can't Get Detergent Out of Towels?

Always used a dedicated MF towel wash with no issues. Make sure you are rinsing them, and wringing them out, prior to washing.

    3401 + 6” + 5” fs

Looking to sell my VERY LIGHTLY used Pink 3401 with 6” and 5” pads. 6” are CCS. 5” are hybrids. pictures show everything included, however, I have the manual, and tools, still in original bag for the 3401. Some pads are still factory new in bags, and a couple I have used a couple times...

Got rid of my Overpriced Karcher PW and bought a Cheap Ryobi & Upgraded it... way better setup!!

FWIW: I have the same PW, use it multiple times a week, and I've never once had an issue with it. Some upgraded parts would be nice as that OEM hose is crap and tangles non stop, but I've never once batted an eye about using this PW while detailing and doing other things around the house.

    Pad cleaning on the fly...

I use brush/air on the fly. Usually have air running anyway, so it takes me a couple more seconds to blow it out after I brush.

How long did it take you and how well did it start off?

Don't ever lower your prices if you feel that your quality of work is on par or better than anyone else around you. I did that once to drive traffic and all people did was take advantage of it. One and done customers as I say. Sure, a lot of that was my fault for not following up with them, but...

    Menzerna 400 + 3500 -- Wow

400/3500 is a great combo. Did you leave the product on the panel and then switch to another section/panel? I usually wipe off immediately after I'm done with a section. I break the panels down into numerous sections so I know which I've worked and haven't. My guess would be you left the...

    Question for detailing business owners

Exactly my thought on it. That's exactly what I did. However, I don't need a payment to keep my motivation through the roof. Becoming the best damn detailer in the country is motivation enough. Like I said earlier though, whatever works for YOU, is what's important. If that loan pushed you to...

    Question for detailing business owners

What happens when you can't get the business, you become terminally ill, house burns down, garage catches on fire, or just can't pay that payment? Now you're screwed. I understand where you're coming from, and respect everyone's opinions 100% here, just putting my .02 in :)

    Question for detailing business owners

My biggest piece of advice to any "start up" is to farm the money yourself. Don't go out and get a loan. Having the money up front for certain things like polishers, extractors, pads, tools, product, lighting, etc. would certainly be nice, HOWEVER, if you start off slow, as many do, you'll be...
