    What’s wrong here???

What compounds would you recommend? I don’t know of any diminishing compound products off of the top of my head. Pad is spinning freely. I have marks on the pad to indicate rotation.

I’m trying to complete 2 step correct with 105/205. Was under the impression grey was a good cutting pad for 105

    What’s wrong here???

Using LC Force 56.5” grey with m105 on a DA.primed pad, four dots, speed 3-5 not laying into it, DA spinning freely, used IPA afterwards. Nothings clearing it up and the more passed, the foggier it gets. Terribly difficult to remove the compound after use. Used same setup with different harbor...

    Paint Correction Products

Everyone has a different technique and different products, it makes my head spin! I've always used M105/205. What do you all use for paint correction (not including machines and pads)? Is it a waste of time to follow up with an even lighter polish/glaze after using 205? Or would I just be...

    Pad & Polisher recommendations

Thanks for all the replies! Does pad size matter? Pretty sure my current setup is 6" and I like how the equipment isn't so big and bulky. (I started off by using a 7 or 8" rotary.) As far as your heavy cut, I read microfiber pads work the best. Any truth to this? How about wetsanding pads? Any...

    Pad & Polisher recommendations

I’m looking to buy a FLEX 3401 and wanted to ask what pads everyone uses? I also want to make sure that the Flex is going to tackle everything I want to do. I plan on using it for wetsanding, compounding, polishing and waxing. What pad line-up would be best to tackle all of these tasks with the...

    Questions for Professional Detailer Businesses

Hello everyone! I've been on here for several years watching and learning. It's safe to say I'm not nearly as good as most of you, but I'm glad to be learning with the best. I've been thinking about starting a detailing business (that is, a legit corporation). Something small and home-based...

    ‘09 abused Mercury Milan

Bought this car for $500. Guy said he put some sort of chemical on it but it oxidized the clear coat. I used a 6” DA with megs 105 and Megs ultimate compound. It is far from done. But what a transformation so far. It’s amazing what you can bring back from the dead. Sent from my iPhone...

Glass Cleaners and Smokers Haze On Windshield

That’s EFFING nasty! Someone had a lot of cheese on their head! LOL. Yes D101 works great. Try Folex too! That seems to be a common go-to for the pros on here, and it’s readily available at Home Depot too. What I hate aboitmspray cleaners though is that they push the dirt down further. You’ll...

Glass Cleaners and Smokers Haze On Windshield

Not bad. I like the eraser putty contraption. However with the Megs APC,’it was literally spray and wipe. I’m not sure if I included the attachments correctly,’but here’s some other results for that cleaner. I’ve had great results with tuff stuff, scrubbing bubbles and this all purpose cleaner...

Glass Cleaners and Smokers Haze On Windshield

Just wanted to bring up a quick topic that I came across this past week. Ive cleaned several cars with thick grimy smokers haze. So bad that you could see a thick film of guck on the windshield that blurred all light. My first time dealing with it was to scrub with my glass cleaner (invisible...
