Thanks guys, good info. I started using Klass AIO with the sealant followup in 2013. Always stayed away from brush car washes. Klasse worked for me and was all I needed. Last year or so age and physical difficulties caused me to make friends with car washes. Didn't realize how bad swirls...
I have been using Klasse for some years and discovered I am about out of AIO. Clearcoat on my Flex looks like a spiders nest from too many trips to the carwash. Is Klasse still a good option for a da polish job? I've been using it since 2013 and have been satisfied, but product development...
Oh Oh...Sorry guys. Guess I forgot that after so long. I've visited AG many times since 2013, just haven't posted because I'v always found answers without having to!
Yeah I know. Problem is she MIGHT polish her car twice a year. That's what I do and my $49 HF (20% off 5 years ago) has served me well and still works like new. Tough to step up to the standard issue twins when it will be used so seldom and my HF has worked so well for 1/3 the price.
Well price fits. No idea what polisher specs are and will need more time than tonight to check out specs and reviews of the many sub $100 brands available.
Some years ago I bought a HF 2000-6400rpm 6 in. DA polisher ~$60. Still works well. No longer on their website and pretty sure I don't want the two models that are. I'm looking for a starter kit to get my daughter for her personal car. DA polisher/3 Lake foam pads/1 pt. Klasse AIO for <$150...
OK you guys have convinced me. I let a Pro detail my new red car after a couple months and was impressed. He used Klasse. I'm still happy after 6 months so thought I'd stick with that to keep things simple. Will I need to start over with AIO every other app of SG? (Daily driver).
So ya think for those who have had trouble it most likely was because of too much product? I've read about streaking, haze, hard to buff out which all sound like that could be a cause.
I'm just getting set up to start using a DA polisher and want to use Klasse AIO & HGSG. I've read about difficulty others have had with the SG process and convinced myself I'd figure out how to use the machine to apply and buff out. Then I found these videos.
So tell me, is this really all...
WOW you guys are great! I guess I was just too saturated to find the ON THE FLY info last night. I'll catch up on all the feedback I got today.
swanicyouth...just for the record I am about to purchase a DA polisher (probably the Harbor Freight 6 inch or the PC). I referred to a FORD FLEX...
Greetings from yet another new guy. I'm getting ready to try my hand at polishing with one of these new fangled DA polishers. I've read so many articles and videos by Mike Phillips and posts and opinions on this forum that I feel like I did back in college when I wondered why Physics is so...
