It's OK to have/use if you got a dark colored car or a car with soft clearcoat. It's useful if you're gonna do a paint correction and don't have to worry about stripping LSP. I found that if you use a really strong dilution of Chemical guys CWG, it does help take off some grit and grime before...
sorry to endorse a product not sold here, but i've tried all products mentioned.. but I have to say that Chemical Guys Citrus Wash and Gloss is by FAR IMHO the best shampoo.

True... Especially if you have a PC that you can easily use 4" pads with good cut as well for the tight areas. The Flex w/6" pads has more than enough power.
I too have the AG boars hair brush for vehicles. I can't say that I've NEVER gotten wash induced marring, but it's no more than I would with normal 2bm wash mitts. I use the boars hair brush all the time when i'm doing a "normal" wash and not ONR. I use the 2bm when using the brush, and I can...
i've cut z8 1:1 with DW. I would say that the gloss cuts down to about the Z6 level at 100% strength. Slickness does not dropp off as much as you would think.
I've given up on Z6 and Z8 after i've found DG AW though. IMHO AW is very similar to Z8.... a little "too similar"
UPGP is simply awsome. Super easy to apply, takes just about as much time as QD after a wash. i've been seeing about 2 months of durability with weekly washes from 1 coat
I would never personally use a car cover. A billion different wash methods, but using a car cover will kill you finish unless you wash it every time before you put it on.
