I am having trouble removing Cooked on Carbon from my exhaust tips. I have tried numerous cleaners polishes and brushes to no avail. I have even tried using a dremel to sand out the carbon but all it did was make the surface uneven with polishing and sanding lines.

Thanks for all of the help guys. Since then I have taken care of much of the work myself by hand. But my neighbor just got a Porter Cable that he said I can use any time I want to. So now I dont have to buy a polisher. I feel fairly confident of doing correction myself, I just need to dedicate a...
I still have these defects and its driving me nuts lol. I was quoted over $300 for those two dents and poor touch up job on the hood to be sanded down. I have to take care of other things for my car first such as the suspension before I can pay that much for the dents and scratches on the hood...
Since its getting nicer out, I can finally been able to wash it by hand. I hated taking the car to the car wash but in the winter, its to cold to hand wash it and the salt from the road could have done damage if I did not take it there lol.

lol I know with the spelling mistakes.
I have already decided to stay away from that place. Now all I look for is any other input you guys are willing to give me based on my most recent decision.
I hope this thread does not become inactive after my last post. Feel free to comment if as...
